Suitable for all water-based systems, the ternary organic carboxylic acid serves as a water-soluble rust inhibitor for various water-based solutions. Primarily used in semi-synthetic cutting fluids, fully synthetic grinding fluids, aqueous quenching liquids,aqueous cleaning agents, automotive antifreeze, rust- preventive water, and other water-based products.

Depending on the type of metalworking fluid (semi-synthetic or synthetic) and the rust prevention requirements, the dosage of the concentrate can range from 2% to 20%. If CP-65 is used as the sole rust inhibitor in the cutting fluid, a recommended dosage of 5-10% is suggested. If other rust inhibitors are included in the cutting fluid, a dosage of 2-5% is recommended. The specific dosage should be determined based on the customer's cutting fluid formula. It is recommended to dissolve CP-65, water, and triethanol- amine in a ratio of 1 part CP-65,1 part water, and 2 parts triethanolamine (the mixture can be heated to 60ºC to 70ºC in the laboratory to accelerate dissolution) until it becomes colorless and transparent, then add it to the concentrate for optimal rust prevention
