All water-based systems and ternary organic carboxylic acids are water-soluble rust inhibitors suitable for various water-based solutions. It is mainly used in semi-synthetic cutting fluids, fully synthetic grinding fluids, water-based quenching fluids and water-based cleaning agents, automotive antifreeze, anti-rust water and other water-based products.
It has an excellent anti-rust effect on ferrous metals.
The product has an extremely low chloride ion content and contains no sulfate ions.
It has good stability, low foaming property and excellent resistance to hard water.
It has good compatibility with surfactants and other additives in the formula and has no adverse effect on the stability of the system.
It is non-irritating to the skin and mucous membranes.
It can be used alone or in combination with other rust inhibitors.
Depending on the metalworking fluid (semi-synthetic or synthetic) and the requirements for rust prevention, the dosage in the concentrate can range from 2% to 25%. If Chorus CR50 is used as the sole rust inhibitor in the cutting fluid, it is recommended that the addition amount be 6-10%. If other components of rust inhibitors are used in combination with the cutting fluid, it is recommended that the addition amount be 2-5%. The specific dosage should be proportioned according to the composition of the customer's cutting fluid formula. It is recommended that the addition sequence in the formula be as follows: First, dissolve 1 part of Chorus CR50 and 2 parts of triethanolamine (in the laboratory, it can be heated to 60ºC to 70ºC to accelerate dissolution) until it is colorless and transparent, and then add it to the concentrated solution to achieve a very good anti-rust effect.
