Product Description

T561 is a copper corrosion inhibitor(Metal Passivator) that can serve as a metal deactivator in lubricant oils, while also exhibiting excellent extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties. T561 possesses outstanding oil solubility, copper corrosion inhibition, and antioxidant performance. When used in internal combustion engine oils, it significantly enhances the oxidation resistance of paraffinic base oils. It can also be applied in two-stroke PCMO engine oils to improve the oil's anti-seizure performance.

Advantage

The metal deactivator T561 can capture active sulfur in oil products, effectively inhibiting metal corrosion. Containing polysulfide bonds, it forms a sulfide film on metal surfaces, thereby suppressing the catalytic effect of metal ions on the oil. As a result, T561 is a highly efficient lubricant additive for enhancing oil performance.

In high-zinc alkaline anti-wear hydraulic oil formulations, the addition of 0.03-0.05% T561 enables the oil to pass the Denison HF-2 hydrolytic stability test. For internal combustion engine oils, incorporating 0.4-0.5% T561 extends the TFOUT induction period by over 60 minutes.

Furthermore, T561 metal deactivator can also be applied in industrial gear oils, turbine oil, PCMO engine oil, emulsified oil, and other lubricant products.
