benzotriazole, the melting point is from 83ºC to 86ºC, soluble in alcohol, benzene,toluene, chloroform and watery lye, and
hardly soluble in water.

Application
It is mainly used as antirust additives and corrosion inhibitor formetals( such as silver, copper. zinc, lead. nickel, etc...), and
for antirustoil (tallow) products, the gas phase corrosion inhibitor of copper andaldary, lubricant additive, cycle water treating
compound and autoantifreeze. It also can be used with manifold scale inhibitor andsterilization algaecide, it works as
corrosion inhibitor very well especially inclose cycle cooling water system.
