TTA-39 is a derivative of Tolyltriazole (TTA), which is a liquid oil soluble corrosion inhibitor and metal passivator widely used in various lubricants, grease and metalworking fluids.
As a corrosion inhibitor, it can effectively protect copper, copper alloys, cadmium, cobalt, silver, and zinc.
As a metal passivator, it can precipitate the ions of the metal, thereby inhibiting the electrochemical corrosion of other metal surfaces and preventing these ions from undergoing oxidation catalysis.
