T6001-8 is an ashless corrosion inhibitor/deactivator for non-ferrous metals, particularly for copper in lubricants. It has the ability to protect copper against corrosive sulfur at low treat rates and moderate temperatures. It gains wide use in engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, greases, metal working fluids and other lubricants.
