Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate is an ionic surfactant, commonly known as Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS). It is highly soluble in water and exhibits excellent emulsifying, foaming, penetrating, cleaning, and dispersing properties. The foam produced is rich and fine. It has good compatibility and strong resistance to hard water, with rapid biodegradability.

Application

Widely used as a foaming agent in toothpaste, emulsifier in cosmetics, and as a surfactant in shampoos, detergents, and other personal care products. It is also extensively applied in the pharmaceutical industry as an emulsifier, detergent, dispersant, wetting agent, and foaming agent in drug formulations. In the construction industry, it serves as a concrete additive, foaming agent, and air-entraining agent. Additionally, it is used as a wetting agent in the textile industry and a flotation agent in mineral processing.
