Chorus 611 is an oil-soluble rust inhibitor. Its rust-preventive performance is similar to Antirust Additive Chorus-BSB and Chorus-BSN.
It has a similar acid-neutralizing ability to Chorus-BSB. It is alkalinity reserve comes from oil-soluble barium carbonate, it does not react with esters, its TBN is less affected by water, and has a more stable base value than Chorus-BSB.
It is more suitable for rust prevention in non-ferrous metals than Chorus-BSB.

What Is an Rust-preventive Additive In Lubricant and Metalworking Fluid?
Anti-rust additives are chemical compounds incorporated into lubricants and metalworking fluids (MWF) to protect metal surfaces from corrosion. The anti-rust additive is also called: rust inhibitor, rust preventive, and corrosion inhibitor. They are wily used in engine oils and MWFs.
Classification Of Anti-Rust Additives
