Product Description

Benzotriazole (BTA) is a highly effective corrosion inhibitor for metals. It is white to slightly yellow crystals in flakes, granules, powder, needles, and hemispherical particles.

BTA is slightly soluble in water, and soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform, and dimethylformamide.

 

 

Application

BTA is widely used in rust inhibitors, antifreeze fluids, oil antioxidants for various lubricants ( hydraulic oils, brake oils, transformer oils), and metal corrosion inhibitors.
