The main ingredient of di-esel cetane improver is 2-ethylhexyl nitrate, which effectively increases the cetane number of di-esel fuel. During di-esel combustion, di-esel cetane improver provides free radicals, initiating an oxidation chain reaction centered around these free radicals. This significantly reduces the spontaneous combustion activation energy of di-esel fuel, shortens the ignition delay period, and enhances the spontaneous combustion properties of di-esel fuel in di-esel engines. This improves the engine's cold start performance and reduces combustion noise and di-esel engine emissions.
