Antiwear EP Additive Sulfurized Olefin T2540

T2540 is an antiwear EP additive that contains high levels of active sulfur, designed for use in harsh conditions when cutting and forming ferrous metals like carbon steel, cast iron, and stainless steel. This additive is suitable for use in various metal processing oils, gear oils, and greases, and is highly recommended for turning, drilling, grinding, tapping, and other machining operations. It can be used alone or in combination with other extreme-pressure anti-wear additives, such as sulfurized fat, chlorinated paraffin, or synthetic ester, to achieve optimal results. However, it should not be used for processing copper and aluminum non-ferrous metals.

Introduction

T2540 is a type of antiwear EP additive with high content of active sulfur, suitable for cutting and forming of ferrous metals in harsh conditions, such as carbon steel, cast iron and stainless steel, etc. It can be used for various metal processing oils, gear oils, greases, especially recommended for turning, drilling, grinding, tapping, etc. Process can be used alone, or can be used together with other extreme pressure anti-wear additives (sulfurized fat, chlorinated paraffin, synthetic ester) to achieve the best effect, can not be used for copper and aluminum non-ferrous metal processing.
